This course is designed for anyone with an interest in first aid. The syllabus covers basic life support including the skills required to give basic life support.

This course meets the training requirements for an appointed person in the workplace. The course looks at the practical and theoretical skills needed to deliver emergency first aid in the workplace and is ideal for those employees coming from smaller, low risk environments.

This course is delivered in such a way as to make the subject fun and in no way gory. It gives the students a chance to practice their skills in a safe environment. Previous students have found this course interesting and rewarding.
This course is suitable for those persons working as child carers. This course is run over four, three hour sessions.

This course is approved by the HSE for the purpose of carrying out First Aid in the Workplace. The contents of the course are as follows:

The First Aid at Work Certificate is valid for three years following qualification, after which time attendance at a re-qualification course is required.
